The Truck Mechanic handles the maintenance of vehicles and their equipment. It is a technical and physical post.

+ Assignments and duties

  • Log in vehicles for preventive or remedial maintenance
  • Carry out the inspections and the diagnoses of mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, electric and electronic breakdowns to guarantee the proper functioning of the engines and systems of vehicles (braking system, compressed-air circuit, electronic regulation, etc.) by carrying out the dismantling, control, replacement, reassembly and adjustment operations required.
  • Carry out the routine maintenance operations on vehicles, the repairs, dealing with breakdowns
  • Carry out tests following repair, adjustment or tuning work
  • Contribute to improving the maintenance programs to reduce the breakdown rate
  • Apply the QHSE rules (processing workshop waste, anti-pollution standards, etc.).

+ Requisite profile and qualities

Your profile:

  • Holder of equivalent of a CAP, BEP or Bac Pro in the maintenance of industrial vehicles
  • Holder of a D, E/C driving license

Foreman M/F - Maintenance Manager - Maintenance Engineer

This post is predominantly managerial, technical and organizational, geared to ensuring the preventive and corrective maintenance of the fleet: the vehicles and their electronic equipment, the maintenance equipment, the service station (vehicle washing machine, fuel pumps).

+ Assignments and duties

Organisation

  • Coordinate the preventive and corrective maintenance of the vehicles in liaison with the operations department
  • Schedule the activity of the workshop in line with the maintenance programs and compulsory stoppages
  • Ensure the physical management of the fleet of vehicles, the depot, the machine-tools and equipment, the purchases and stocks of spare parts, the sub-contracting contracts

Management

  • Lead and unify one's team (recruitment, training, management)
  • Maintain good management-personnel relations

Technique

  • Verify the quality of the work and the compliance of the vehicles
  • Ensure that the QHSE rules are followed by all the members of the team

Management

  • Draw up, monitor and optimize the operating and investment budget
  • Set up and monitor the performance indicators of the technical service and service quality (breakdown rate, follow up of technical visits, etc.)
  • Carry out the administrative and financial procedures of the workshop

  • You have 2 to 5 years of higher education depending on the complexity of the post
  • You have prior experience in the profession
  • You have administrative, organizational and managerial skills
  • You are perfectly familiar with the mechanical systems of trucks
