European Mobility Week
France's Sustainable Development Ministry is entering into the spirit of European Mobility Week, September 16-22. Created by the European Commission, its goal is to educate the general public about using public transit, cycling and walking as means of transportation.

Symposium: "Moving Transport from CDM to NAMAs"
On June 9th, Veolia Transdev will organize with its partners UITP, ITDP, GIZ et TRL of the initiative "Bridging the Gap: pathways for transport in the post 2012 process" the symposium "Moving Transport from CDM to NAMAs" in Bonn in parallel to the UNFCCC negotiations.

United Nations Climate Change conference in Cancun: Active participation of Veolia Transport and Institut Veolia Environnement
Veolia Transport promoted the message of sustainable mobility at the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC) meeting in Cancun (Mexico) on two occasions:
- through its commitment to the initiative "Bridging the gap: pathways for transport in the post 2012 process", and
- its participation in a side event with the Institut Veolia Environnement.

European Mobility Week
This year, European Mobility Week will focus on the theme "Travel smarter, live better." As a reference in the management of safe, sustainable transportation systems, Veolia Transport contributes to the use of urban spaces by offering a real alternative to personal cars with a wide range of transportation solutions.
European Mobility Exhibition
Transports Publics 2010, the fourth edition of the European Mobility Exhibition, will take place from june in Paris Expo Porte de Versailles.
Organised by GIE Objectif transport public GART-UTP and UITP, this exhibition is the big meeting to discover the latest innovations and best practices in sustainable mobility.
Veolia Transport at the opening of the Copenhagen Climate Change Conference
Veolia Transport, with UITP, TRL and GTZ, the German technical cooperation, launched the initiative "Bridging the gap: Pathways for transport in the post 2012 process" to include land transport in the agenda of the international climate negotiations held in Copenhagen on December 7-18.
