After the acquisition of the Viens bus company in Montreal, Veolia Transport made further progress in Canada when the transit authority of the city of York (Ontario) entrusted Veolia with the operation of its Bus Rapid Transit system. The five-year operating contract (starting in September 2005) will generate a cumulated turnover of approximately €62 million.
