Simple, efficient travel
CITURA

Challenge

With demand for public transit expected to soar by 40%, local authorities opted to implement a sweeping plan to revamp their system. Rider information, a key factor in the success of public transportation, was made the centerpiece of the overhaul, to give passengers a complete overview of the transportation options available, updated in real time.

Objectives

  • Integrate the diverse range of current as well as future modes of transportation.
  • Design a service around rider needs, to meet passenger expectations concerning ergonomics, usage and complete information.
  • Offer a multi-media service able to relay information via the preferred media of our passengers.

Result:
• 7,000 route plans/day at peak usage during disruptions
