Rider information, a key factor in the success of public transportation, was made the centerpiece of the overhaul, to give passengers a complete overview of the transportation options available, updated in real time.

Easy-to-access route planning
- A simplified presentation and short list of parameters: departure/arrival and possibly departure or arrival times.
- A dedicated Web page with all usable parameters.

Simple route planning
- Addresses, stations, stops and landmarks can all be entered as departure or arrival points.
- Lexical syntactic processing accommodates misspellings, name reversals, abbreviations and, if unclear, displays a list of stations, stops and landmarks to pinpoint them.
- Passenger favorites are saved as prompts for later use.
Efficient route planning
- Responses give the next three suggested routes (route, direction, boarding & disembarking station and times, running times), repeating the particulars of the request.
- Detailed maps are available for departure, arrival and all transfer points, including continually updated information on public places and tourist attractions.

- A "stop schedule" function that provides upcoming departure times for a given stop.
- A "route schedule" function that displays the regular timetable information for a given route.
