Metro

A Vital Component of Efficient Public Transit

Veolia Transport's expertise in managing metro systems goes back a long way. For 150 years, metro systems have been a vital component of efficient public transit in a number of major metropolitan areas. It makes sense for us to be active in this market and to showcase all our know-how there.

After auditing the requirements and expectations of a population, Veolia Transport's job is to provide an appropriate solution, leveraging our international experience and taking specific local considerations into account. This is no small feat, as it involves:

  • Run a frequency and schedule that are easy for riders to assimilate and to which we commit.
  • A system that interfaces with the other modes of transportation.
  • Improving our systems by providing better rider information, for example, or by facilitating ticketing procedures.

Veolia Transport's expertise in managing metro systems goes back a long way.
