Veloway partners with city planners to choose the best integration plans, station locations, and fare/rate structure. And we'll even sit down with you to brainstorm and choose the design and bicycle colors that best fit your city's unique personality!
Veloway offers three modular platforms that can work independently or in conjunction with one another. Cities choose the most appropriate platform(s) based on cost, infrastructure requirements and other priorities:
Veloway PASS is a high infrastructure system, typically located on a bustling street or downtown area, that allows for maximum visibility in a city. Using touch-card technology (such as SmartCARD) allows for a sophisticated system of docking and un-docking bikes.
Veloway MOBILE provides low infrastructure, flexible stations that allow transactions via riders' mobile phones or touch-card technology. Because a parking "pod" can be installed in as little as 30 minutes, Veloway MOBILE allows you to find your perfect locations to maximize usage. It can also be paired with a more permanent, high visibility bike shelter to raise the profile of the program in a city.
Veloway PARK adds a convenient bicycle parking service at transit centers or intermodal exchange points. This high infrastructure option enables a large-scale bike parking facility to be linked to a transit center. Riders can take bicycles to a transit hub and get onto another mode of transport seamlessly or do the reverse on the way home. Private bike users could also use the facility for a nominal fee.
