Veolia Transport operates taxis and limousines in various parts of the United States. Competition and passenger choice make this an interesting market and offers us the chance to stretch our retail muscles. We also operate some airport shuttle services.
Taxis have a major role to play in expanding our range of transportation solutions. They can often complement transportation-on-demand solutions. Passenger demand cannot be met as adequately as we would like in certain time slots and geographical locations. Our local partnerships with taxi companies help to remedy these deficiencies by offering alternative solutions. For instance, in Nice, taxis are used to supplement the local transport-on-demand network.
